Returns & Refunds

If you change your mind on your purchase, you have a full 365 days to return it for a refund subject to some exclusions set out below. All goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.

  • Any customised items such as wheel builds cannot be returned or personalised items
  • GPS systems such as sports watches or cycle computers can only be returned if unregistered
  • For hygiene reasons, any intimate garments such as underwear can only be returned if the items are unworn (and any protective packaging remains)
  • Gift vouchers
  • Products received over 365 days ago
  • Products that have been opened or unsealed
  • Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition

Please note, that we reserve the right to refuse a return if we believe the purpose was for stock trading/reselling and not personal use.

Returned items will be checked by one of our specialists to ensure they meet the criteria set out in this Returns and Refund policy. Please note if you return items which are outside our Returns and Refund policy we will be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances

We cannot offer exchanges for unwanted items; please place a new order for any alternative items you require. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order within 7 days of receipt at our warehouse or once the item has been checked by one of our specialists.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

How to make a return

To return unwanted items, follow these simple steps:

  1. Please contact us in the first instance at sales@ecovoltz.co.uk or via www.ecovoltz.co.uk/contact/ with your order reference, letting us know the items you wish to return.
  2. Please arrange and pay to securely return of the items to us (please note we will refund the delivery charge if items are fault / you have been sent an incorrect order). Please keep a receipt of postage and please write your order reference on the outside of the parcel and include your original order packing slip within the parcel.
  3. Upon receipt of the item(s) and them having been checked over by our team we will process your refund / or arrange for replacement goods to be sent out to you.

Please note that we can’t refund postage costs however unless the return is faulty or the wrong item. This being the case, we can offer you up to £25 in reimbursement – just remember to email us a copy of the receipt.

 

Cancellation rights at law

You also have rights under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which state that up to 14 days after receiving your goods, in most cases, you can change your mind and get a full refund. You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days from delivery without giving any reason. This right does not apply to any customised or personalised goods bought through our website. To exercise this right please contact us prior to the expiry of the cancellation rights period.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). Where charges apply, you are responsible for paying the return delivery charges.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 14 days after the day we received back from you any goods supplied; or
  • (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods; or
  • if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We do not reimburse delivery costs of returns postage.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product you’re entitled to the following:

  • up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, then you can get a refund;
  • up to six months: if they can’t be repaired or replaced, then you’re entitled to a full refund, in most cases;
  • up to six years: if the goods do not last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.

Nothing in this contract affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (also known as ‘statutory rights’). You may also have other rights in law.

Please contact us, if you want:

  • us to repair the goods;
  • us to replace the goods;
  • a price reduction; or
  • to reject the goods and get a refund.

Exchanges

Unfortunately we don’t offer exchanges on products other than faulty items. In order to provide the best service and quickest turn around, if you find yourself with a product that doesn’t fit, isn’t right for you or you’ve simply changed your mind, you can follow our standard returns process, opting for a refund. This means you can jump on site and order the replacement right away, making sure you get it at the price you want and when it’s in stock.

All unwanted items that are returned will be refunded back to the original payment method, as per our returns terms and conditions. We do not reimburse delivery costs of returns postage.
