The Trixie Rear-Mounted Bicycle Basket makes it easy to take your dog with you when you go out on your bike. The basket has a sturdy, wicker construction with a galvanised wire mesh cover to prevent your pet from escaping whilst you’re on the move. The bracket at the base of the basket makes it easy and quick to attach to your bicycle’s pannier rack or carrier and allows you to transport dogs weighing up to 8kg. The Trixie Rear-Mounted Bicycle Basket also comes with a soft suede-effect cushion, so that your dog can travel in comfort.

Safety advice:
Please note the maximum weight capacity of the bike basket. You should allow plenty of time for your dog to get used to the basket before using it on your bicycle for the first time. It is also advisable for you to practice riding your bicycle with the basket attached, containing objects that add up to your dog’s weight, so that you can experience how the balance and steering of your bike will change with your dog on board. Hold your bike steady when you put your dog into the basket or take him out. If you are using a basket with a wire mesh cover, you should always ensure that the wire mesh is firmly closed before setting off. You risk your bike overbalancing if you leave your bike unattended on a stand with your dog in the basket.
